It was an event for the birds as disc golfers converged on Patrick Park Disc Golf on the afternoon of Nov. 11, for the Second Annual Turkey Shoot Tournament. The event, organized by the Yorkton sub-committee of the Parkland Association of Disc Golf, utilized a ‘birdie bash’ scoring system over an 18 course using temporary tee placements. In the end Yorkton golfer Riley Maloney, centre, took home the biggest bird for top spot. Second was Duncan Andrew of Regina, right, while left, Taylor Mountain, also of Regina, took the third place Cornish hen.
