Hockey and disc golf coming together

Is there anything more Canadian in sport than hockey?

Probably not!

But, the PADG hopes one day disc golf is thought of in much the same way locally.

So it hugely gratifying that the Yorkton Terriers have come on board as a partner for the PADG membership rewards program.

The first 35 paid members will each receive a redeemable voucher for a single ticket to a 2016-17 regular season Terrier game.

What a great reward for joining the PADG to support the growth of disc golf in the area by enjoying an exciting Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League game.

But wait disc golf fans, this exciting new partnership goes farther than tickets.

The Terriers and PADG will be co-hosting a 'Meet the Terriers and Play Disc Golf' event at Patrick Park Disc Golf Course in Yorkton Sunday, Oct. 2.

Details are still being arranged, but expect a BBQ, meet the latest edition of the Terriers, and for youngsters, and adults too, a chance to throw some discs with the Terrier players.
